Pet Hair Laundry Balls – Reusable Washer & Dryer Balls | Fetch & Fuzz
Clever gear for the messy half of dog ownership
+FREE Domestic Shipping
Washing a dog blanket usually means redistributing the hair across everything else in the drum.
Fetch & Fuzz Hair Removal Laundry Balls go in with the load and catch loose hair as things tumble. It collects on the balls instead of on your clothes, and on the filter instead of nowhere.
Why you'll love it
- Catches hair mid-wash. Rather than leaving it to settle back onto everything.
- Washer or dryer. Use them in either; the dryer tends to catch more.
- Reusable. Peel the hair off and put them back in. Nothing to re-order.
- Also softens the load. The tumbling action does some of what dryer balls do.
Where they earn their keep
Dog bedding, blankets, throws off the sofa, and the coat you wear to walk them. Anything that goes in furry.
Good to know
These reduce hair rather than eliminate it. A heavily furred blanket is still worth shaking out or running through a dryer cycle first — the balls handle what is left, not a full coat's worth. Peel them clean between loads or they stop picking up.

Why it works
Catch it in the drum, not on your clothes
Washing a dog blanket usually redistributes the hair across everything else in the load.
Catches hair mid-cycle
Hair collects on the balls as things tumble, instead of settling back onto every item in the drum.
Reusable indefinitely
Peel them clean and put them back in. Nothing to run out of and nothing to re-order.
Washer or dryer
Both work. The dryer tends to catch more, since hair is looser once dry.
Questions
Before you buy
How many should I use per load?
Two or three for a normal load. More for a heavily furred blanket, though shaking it out first does more than adding a fourth ball.
Do they remove all the hair?
No, and anyone claiming otherwise is overselling. They substantially reduce it. A badly furred blanket is still worth shaking out or tumbling first.
Will they damage my clothes or machine?
No. They are soft enough to tumble with normal laundry and are used the same way as dryer balls.
How do I clean them?
Peel the hair off between loads. If you leave it on, they stop picking up.
Can I use them with fabric softener?
Yes, though softener makes hair cling to fabric more, which works against you. Skip it on pet-hair loads.
