A collar you can actually hold on to.
The Fetch & Fuzz Tactical Dog Collar is built for dogs strong enough to test ordinary hardware. Two inches of military-grade nylon webbing, a neoprene-lined inner face so the width does not chafe, and a reinforced handle behind the buckle for the moments you need close control — a vet's waiting room, a narrow pavement, another dog rounding the corner.
How it is built
- Military-grade nylon webbing. Double-stitched rather than single-seamed, so it does not stretch loose the way a thin collar does after a few months.
- Elastic neoprene inner layer. A wide collar without padding digs in. The soft lining spreads pressure across the neck and reduces friction instead of concentrating it on a narrow band.
- Titanium steel alloy buckle. An H-shape snake-design quick-release buckle, waterproof and rust-resistant. Plastic is what fails first on a strong dog, and it fails without warning.
- Reinforced control handle. Stitched into the webbing behind the buckle, not glued on. Grab it for immediate close control without reaching for the collar itself.
- Electroplated D-ring. For the lead and for ID tags.
Size and fit
All three sizes are the same collar — 5 cm (2″) wide, 292 g — and differ only in how far they adjust.
| Size | Neck, adjustable range |
|---|---|
| S | 40–51 cm (15.7–20.1″) |
| M | 43–58 cm (16.9–22.8″) |
| L | 45–66 cm (17.7–26.0″) |
Measure around your dog's neck where the collar will sit, then add room for two fingers between the strap and their coat. If your measurement falls in the overlap between two sizes, take the larger — the adjustment covers it.
Built for medium and large dogs. The width is the point: it spreads pull across more of the neck than a narrow collar, which is why handlers of strong breeds prefer this style. It is the wrong choice for a small dog, where a 5 cm band is simply too much collar.
Six colours
Black, Pink Camo, Lake Blue, Army Green, Khaki and Orange. Same construction and hardware throughout.
Care
Rinse with warm water after muddy or salty walks and let it air dry. The nylon and neoprene both shed water quickly, and the buckle does not rust. No machine washing — it shortens the life of the stitching.

Why it works
Built for a dog that pulls
Width, metal and a handle. Three things a thin collar does not give you.
Width spreads the load
At 5 cm across, pull is distributed over far more of the neck than a narrow strap manages. That is the whole reason handlers of strong dogs use this style.
Metal where it matters
A titanium steel alloy quick-release buckle instead of a plastic clip. Plastic is what fails first on a strong dog, and it fails without warning.
A handle you can actually grab
Stitched into the webbing behind the buckle, not glued on. Immediate close control at the vet, on a narrow pavement, or when another dog appears.
Questions
Before you buy
Which size should I choose?
Measure around your dog's neck where the collar will sit, then add room for two fingers.
S 40–51 cm · M 43–58 cm · L 45–66 cm. The ranges overlap, so if you fall between two, take the larger — the adjustment covers it.
Is it too wide for my dog?
It is 5 cm wide, which suits medium and large dogs. On a small dog it is simply too much collar — the band would sit awkwardly and restrict head movement. We would rather say so than sell you the wrong thing.
What is the handle for?
Close control in the moments a lead is too long: a vet's waiting room, a crowded pavement, lifting a dog into a boot. It is not a substitute for a lead and should not be used to restrain a dog for long periods.
Can I attach a lead to it?
Yes. There is an electroplated D-ring alongside the buckle for the lead and for ID tags.
Will the buckle rust?
No. It is titanium steel alloy, so rain, lakes and wet walks do not mark it. Rinse and air dry after salty or muddy walks.
Does the width chafe?
That is what the neoprene inner layer is for. A wide collar with no padding digs in; the lining spreads pressure and cuts friction. Check the fit is snug rather than tight — two fingers of room.
How do I clean it?
Rinse with warm water and air dry. Do not machine wash — it shortens the life of the stitching.
